My daughter fell in love with this bedding set. I was a little worried because of all of the negative reviews, but my husband convinced me to let her choose...Should have stuck to my guns. The sheets and pillow cases are nice, not a texture I'm used to, but they are true to the picture and have endured numerous washings without fading or shrinking. The comforter, while pretty and bright, is very flimsy. The texture of the top of the comforter reminds me of gas station paper towels- thin and rather rough. Within 3 days it had a tear, not hole or busted seam, an actual tear, like paper. There is no way for me to repair it without creating a pucker in the design, which is the only reason we bought the darn thing!
If I had it to do over again I would have made my daughter choose another set but, live and learn, right? So, heed my advice and no matter how much you child begs and pleads, buy something else.
