Pros. Nice looking pasta bowl at an affordable price, not what I was expecting. Was expecting a plate bowl combination with a rim more horizontal with the table, but the rim on these dishes curve upward more like a bowl all away around, but it will work, they do look nice. There are a few imperfections in the glaze, such as a tiny spot the glaze didn't cover, but you really have to look hard for them to notice it, mostly on the bottom side. One tiny blemish, barely visable to the eye per plate at these prices is acceptable...Who's going to be looking at the bottom of the plate any way?

Cons. The packaging was damaged and the items poorly packaged; Even though the box was visably labled fragile, the contents inside could have been better secured with bubble rap, styrefoam peanuts or newpaper. Was really suppised that only one dish was broken, but Amazon was right on it with excellent customer service. Got a refund on the one dish, more than I expected, and am very satisfied.
