The set of dishes arrived with nothing broken. It was well packed. The dishes are lovely to look at but I was not happy with the inside finishing of the bowls. They felt like they needed to be buffed out. I used steel wool to clean them and it corrected the immediate problem. However, it seems that this needs to be done every time they are used.
