This is the newest pillow from Holy Lamb Organics. Just looking at the soft woolly nibs makes me want to order one! It is similar to a down feather pillow, but has more substance. It is made with tiny wool nibs which can be moved around, squished and shaped into any form desired. It is easier to wash than our other wool products and the zippered cover allows you to add more wool nibs or take them out depending on your preference. This is a medium filled pillow. The cover is organic cotton and has a zippered closure. Pillow measures 20" x 25". Fill weighs 29 oz. Machine washable, gentle cycle. Made in Washington State.

Holy Lamb Organics Woolly "Down" Pillow Review

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this pillow! It's well made (no factory-farmed, Mal Wart cheapo here), starts out warm and fluffy, contorts to almost any position, and then solidifies while sleeping to offer firm support. (You can buy more nibs inexpensively from the manufacturer to increase the firmness, but I doubt most people would need to. You can pull nibs out, too, to decrease firmness, thanks to the wonderful zipper).

At first I had my reservations. The nibs didn't look quite as soft as the ones in the picture, and when I woke up, the nibs had all clumped into a hard mass. However, once I figured out to FLUFF IT, FLUFF IT, FLUFF IT, now I can't wait to jump into bed and sink into its warm, fluffy goodness. Plus, as I mentioned before, the clumping actually increases the support, which is nice, because my old pillow was giving me headaches.

My oldy-but-goody pillow was a memory foam, but this one is sooooo much better. It starts out soft, like a cloud, but then gets firmer, a PERFECT combination. I've also had buckwheat pillows, but they were too hard and had to be adjusted whenever I turned over-- not good if you like to move!

Seriously, if you have the money to splurge, buy this pillow!!! I'm planning to invest in one of their wool comforters, next, as soon as I can afford it.
