This toy box was exactly what we were looking for. We wanted a nice toy box for our three-year-old granddaughter. We wanted it to be something nicer than molded plastic, but didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars, either. For the money, this was definitely the best value. It was easy to assemble, came with all the pieces, plus a few extras, and has some very nice safety features. The lid is fastened on with special spring-loaded hinges that will not allow the lid to fall shut. No more pinched fingers or bashed heads! And in case a child DOES crawl into the toybox to hide, there are ventilation holes in the back panel, and additional recesses along the top, to prevent suffocation. On top of all that, it has a very solid structure and appearance; it doesn't look cheap. We're very pleased with it, and would recommend it to any of our friends and/or family. And yes, our granddaughter liked it, too.
