So we're expecting a son in 3 1/2 months and my wife wanted to make sure the nursery was completely done and out of the way a couple of months before his arrival just to get it off our to-do-list. We painted the room a sky blue and chocolate brown with white trim (upon her request) and couldn't find the right sheets to match (my wife is extremely picky). She didn't want something too baby-ish or "cutesy" as she would say, but rather something that could translate well into his toddler years (at least decor wise). We found the skip hop ABC bedding and she was sold. The sheets are very soft and 100% cotton which makes us both comfortable knowing he'll be fine sleeping on them. They look great as well. It's bumper free which made my wife even happier as she was adamant about not having a bumper on the crib. Overall we are very satisfied with our purchase.

4D Concepts Espresso Bathroom Spacesaver Cabinet with Two Louvered Doors Review

I originally bought this b/c it was bigger than all the other ones and it gave room so that I could get in the toilet tank.
It is EXTREMELY cheaply constucted. The support legs were so cheap that they broke off. In there "defence" they did send me new ones almost THREE weeks after I complained, but that too was broken off.. They screw that connects the bottom support legs to the top broke off while trying to screw it. I used the ones from the old one I was throwing away.. On top of them breaking off, the process of screwing it created a big bulge on the other side! REALLY CHEAP!!!

This was not at all what I was expecting. The fabric is coarse and actually noisy when you fluff the pillow. I never even took the second one out of the packaging. I can't imagine trying to sleep on these.. the fabric is more like cardboard than cotton. I bought some of these pillows at Costco a few years ago and was looking to replace them. The ones I got at Costco were fabulous, made with different material and were very soft and comfortable. I will be returning these.

I should preface this with saying that I'm aware people don't generally buy Alessi products for their utilitarian purposes. However, since these are sold as kitchen tools (and not, you know FINE ART), one would like to think that a $100+ french press would stand up to more than 3 months of use.

And, to add insult to injury, this is the SECOND Alessi alien press for my husband--he owned one before we married and it broke, and we got the second one as a wedding gift, which also just broke.

What broke on both presses? Well if it were just the carafe, that's understandable. I think I've broken about 10 carafes total on french presses in my lifetime. Nor was it the plunging operation or the cute little alien holder. No, it was the plastic cap that serves to keep your coffee warm and from pouring all over the counter when you go for a cup. Both plastic caps simply snapped in half and fell off. At the moment we're still using it (squidging the cap halves in place and holding them when we pour) but I'm getting pretty p.o.'ed at looking at this super pricey piece o' crap and wishing we'd put something else on the registry.

So if you buy it, use it seldom or put it on a shelf to look pretty. And then get a cheaper press for actual life.

My bed came with 3 wooden slats with "legs" in the center for support. One of the legs broke clear off, and I was constantly afraid that all three of them would give out between the weight of the box spring, memory foam mattress and me, so I bought this.
