The "Eco Leather" material is soft & comfortable, but it's also noisy/creaky, and it tears pretty easily. (I was unfortunate enough to discover this upon bumping the chair's back into the corner of my desk -- before I even sat in it!) Tearing would probably not be an issue under normal use, but klutzes like me (or anyone with kids) might have problems with "Eco Leather".

Mechanically, it's like most inexpensive office chairs I've used: The "Locking Tilt Control" only locks into the upright position, meaning it won't lock back -- you're either rocking in this chair or you're not. There is a tilt tension adjustment knob, but it's not very responsive. Also, I threaded and tightened (not over-tightened) all the screws meticulously, but the whole unit retained about 10 degrees of wobble in any given direction.

Oddly, the word "Kitchen" now appears in the description of the product at the head of this review, but the word doesn't appear anywhere else on the product page. It is not high-backed. I'm six feet tall with normal proportions -- and this chair doesn't give me any head or neck support. The top of my shoulders lands on the middle of the top section of cushioning. Only if I stretch my neck back and look at the ceiling does the top of the cushion touch my neck at all. The chair feels big enough for me, but I think its proportions are more ideal for a slightly smaller occupant.

I ordered the Black chair. The one I received looks just like the picture. I mention this because the picture shown for the Wine version appears to be an entirely different model. All colors are priced waaay below the (laughable) list price, but for whatever reason, the Wine and Espresso colors are priced significantly higher at the moment, and IMO too high (assuming they're of the same quality). But the price for the Black chair is more than fair.

Safco 5241BL Black Commercial Wire Shelving, 48 by 18-Inch Review

I really like these shelves. They feel solid, and, once assembled, the rack is rigid and not at all willowy. The assembly is simple (make sure you have twice the height of the rack in floorspace when you're doing the assmbly so that you can easily slide the rods into the bottom shelf one at a time).

You can pay a lot more for wire shelving, but unless you're looking for industrial ruggedness these shelves should work well for you.

Zwilling J.A. Henckels Pro Chef's Knife 38401-263 , 10" Review

This knife is one of Zwilling Henckel's updated generation, with an arched (or shortened) bolster. The shape of bolster and handle makes it very comfortable to use a traditional "pinch grip" with the the thumb and index finger gripping the blade heel. Because the bolster is shortened, the entire length of blade is accessible and easy to sharpen from front to back.

The blade shape on the updated Pro series Chef's knives is fairly distinctive; being wide almost all the way from heel to tip, with a less pronounced point... the blade tip seeming to ride higher than usual. The result is a more pronounced curve at the front third of the blade, with a long nearly straight back half. The back half of the blade, rather than angling slightly upward from the heel toward the tip as in most other chef's knives, instead runs nearly parallel to the spine for several inches before finally curving upward toward the tip. Because the overall blade geometry is wider/taller than many traditional chef's knives, someone with large hands may find it gives them extra space they need. The weight and heft of the knife feels very good, substantial but not too heavy. Fit and finish were superb, and it came out of the box razor sharp.

Although I liked the knife, in the end I returned it and purchased a more traditionally shaped Wusthof Classic 10-inch Chef's. The width of the Pro's blade bothered me somewhat and I decided I preferred a more pointed shape and less width toward the front of the blade (I'd like to have kept it but as an amateur I can only justify keeping one 10-inch chef's knife). Despite my own preferences, it's a good knife, and the blade shape and width may suit some much more than it did me. Kudos to Henckels for the new shortened arched bolster... very comfortable and usable.

Steffy Wood Products 27-Inch High 2-Shelf Storage Review

I ordered 4 of these shelves because I thought they were a great deal and available quickly through Prime. When they first arrived I thought they looked very heavy and sturdy. However, I was very disappointed when I started putting them together. The wood has a paper covering which tore on two of the shelves before they were even assembled. I was able to turn them over so it wasn't too big of a deal. Then pieces of wood split off and broke on another two within the first two days of use. I have bought other steffy products and been very satisfied, however, I don't think I would purchase these shelves again. There is a reason that they are so much cheaper than others I have seen... they are very cheaply made.
